SQL Reference
The Star Schema Benchmark (SSB) is a widely adopted analytical benchmark derived from TPC-H. It serves as a cost-performance evaluation standard tailored for analytical workloads. The SSB defines 13 query scenarios that evaluate an analytical database’s performance from multiple dimensions.
This benchmark compares the SSB performance of YMatrix, Greenplum, and CloudBerry in single-table analytical query scenarios.
Based on the execution of all 13 queries over a 100 GB SSB dataset, YMatrix delivers 118× faster performance than Greenplum and 145× faster performance than CloudBerry in terms of total query time.
All three systems—YMatrix, Greenplum, and CloudBerry—were deployed on identical hardware:

The columns CloudBerry / YMatrix and Greenplum / YMatrix represent the speedup ratio—i.e., how many times slower CloudBerry or Greenplum is compared to YMatrix. Higher values indicate better performance by YMatrix.
